Healing... It’s yours, receive it!

Isaiah 53:5 tells us that “by his wounds we ARE healed!

Never in that verse was there any if’s, and’s, or buts about it! Healing is simply something we can all receive! The question is do you really believe? Do you have any doubt? Are you listening to the world around you tell you what you are, or what you have? It’s just as easy to receive that word from the world, as it is to receive THE word that tells us we ARE healed. It’s a gift, one of the many given to those who believe in the father and his son whom he sent to die for us. Jesus got everything we deserved, so that we may have everything He deserves! Healing, among many other things, is a gift... receive it.

1 Corinthians 2:5 says: “For God intended that your faith NOT be established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in His almighty Power!”

Matthew 16:19 tells us: “I will give. you the keys of heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven”

Is anyone sick in heaven? Does anyone have cancer in heaven? No. What did Jesus do ALLOT of while he was on this earth? He healed tons and tons of people! But what was the one thing he always remembered to say after healing them? Jesus would always attach faith to there healing. Think about it he could have just said: Ok you’re healed, your welcome, see ya later! Nope He always said things like “your faith has healed you!” “do not fear, only believe!” “may it be done acording to your faith!” We can find countless examples of this all throughout the gospals! In Mathew and Mark it talks about when Jesus went into his hometown. Mark 6:5-6 says: “And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid hands on a few sick people and healed them. He marveled because of their UNBELIEF.” Faith is pleasing to the Lord, so is there really a cap on how much we can have? Nope.

John 14:12-14 : Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the father. Whatever you ask in my name, this will I do, that my Father may be glorified in the son. If you ask me anything in my name, I WILL DO IT!”

I mean there is more than one occasion (there’s allot) where Jesus himself (red letters) Says in many different ways “Whatsoever you ask in my name I will do it.” Now we have more than went over that it’s God’s will for us all to be healed just in the scriptures above, let alone the many more we haven’t touched on. So all those that sre thinking about 1 John 5:14 that tells us “that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” You can rest assured that it is His will for you to be in complete health. All the promises of God are yes and amen, if you can find it in the word, it’s a promise! STAND ON IT, SPEAK IT OUT, RECEIVE IT, until you see it manifest!

Now I said all that to lay a foundation for something the Lord shared with me recently that I really think will help some of us see it in all it’s simplicity.

About a month ago the lord gave me a great example to consider when it comes to healing.

He said:

Think about it this way... Your parents come over and say “hey, we have a gift for you!” And they drive a brand new car into your garage and say “here you go it’s all yours!” “We love you and we want you to have it, we paid for it completely and it’s our gift to you!” OK lets say that a couple days go by and you start thinking that you need to go to the grocery store. Are you going to call your parents to ask and or beg them to let you drive your car that they gave you to the grocery store?! No your not, because it was a gift to you. They paid for it and gave it to you, to be yours.

Same with God, He has given his one and only Son to die on the cross for many things. One of those is our healing! “ by His stripes you ARE healed!” So now it’s time to receive it! Stop begging, pleading, and bargaining with him to heal you. Stop coming to him with such fear, the fear is not from God. In his presence is fullness of Joy. Come boldly to the throne. Come to him with full confidence that he will do what he said! Come to him in faith having no doubts! It does sound contrary to what the world around you would say, but it’s not about he who is in the world it’s about he who is living inside of you!!

So Be free my friends! I encourage you all to believe God over the natural situation of what it looks like, how it feels, or what someone spoke over you!

PRAY IT BELIEVE IT RECEIVE IT!
